1. I am a fencer
   GHFS has launched a tumblr page, "I am a fencer", which will contain a collection of fencing pictures, videos, quotes etc with the intention to help create an identity for Historical European Martial Arts. This page will be updated daily.

2. Swedish HEMA federation (SvHEMAF) launched
   We are very happy to announce that the Swedish HEMA federation SvHEMAF (I have no idea how to pronounce that properly either) was formally founded on January 28, 2012.
   
   The mission goal of SvHEMAF is to promote Historical European Martial Arts and the member schools of SvHEMAF. SvHEMAF will also be working actively to cooperate with other national and international Historical European Martial arts federations and organizations.

3. New historical fencing products from SPES Historical Fencing

4. In Memoriam - Philippe Errard (1978-2011)
   Philippe died on Friday, 18 November 2011, of lung cancer. He was an excellent fencer, a dedicated HEMA researcher, and a warm, wonderful human being. He will be sorely missed by his many friends in France, Europe, and around the world.
